GEORGIA INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS SECURES HOSPITALITY SPONSORSHIP WITH ZION FARMS
Georgia International Horse Trials (GIHT) announced today that it has secured sponsorship with Zion Farms to supply hospitality catering. Zion Farms from Rome, Georgia, USA has agreed to a three-year contract with the new four-star three-day event to be held October 2005.
Jack Pollard, GIHT Executive Director said, “Catering an international event of this size requires very professional organization and coordination so we are just thrilled t0 have a commitment from such a prestigious company that offers high quality catering. This is yet another example of the level of interest from the local community even though we are over two years away from the event.”
Rena Cooper-Webb, Vice-President of Zion Farms is very excited to be part of the Georgia International Horse Trials. “We feel completely honored to be involved with an event of this size from the ground up. It’s not just about serving hot dogs and hamburgers. It’s much more. Our vision is to create an ambience there that goes beyond serving food. We aim to produce a whole quality package that’s in keeping with the vision of the event to be new and different.”
This new horse trials will be the only competition in the fall to take place in the U.S. at the highest level in the sport and one of only five in the world. The other CCI **** (Concours Complet Internationale, four star) events are Lexington, KY (USA), Badminton, (GBR), Burghley, (GBR) and Adelaide, (AUS).
